hi,
the oil paintings turn Black because of the reaction btw the present lead and hydrgen sulphide from the air to form PbS which is responsible for the black coulouring after some time.

ya due to formation of lead sulphide because oil paint contain lead and reacts with H2S present in atmosphere.
