What is the principle of working of the spin tub of a washing machine?

i think u mean the part that osscilates...ryt??

the oscillating and rotating drive for the spin tub of a washing machine includes an orbital input shaft and connecting and linking rods operative to inversely oscillate the tub to simultaneously rotate in the same direction during the spin cycle...

this automatic mechanism helps in rotating the tub in both clockwise and anticlockwise directions without any other support,,,

got somethin from it?

yaar i think the dryer( in a semi automatic washing machine) runs complete in one direction to squeeze the clothes and water can come out of cloth surface through holes present on the surface of the dryer...

and it works on the principle of a simple ELECTRIC MOTOR

Well it moves like clockwise then anticlockwise and then again clockwise.. now as u know if we have to dust up the carpet we hit it very hardly due to that the molecules gain some energy and by which they leave their previous site.
Similarly in the case of dryer.. the water molecules acquire some enegry and leave their site nd dis is d reason why the dryer changes its direction widin som time.
Hope u get it

What do you mean by:
''the water molecules acquire some enegry and leave their site''

What type of energy does the water gain and from what?

i think he's refering to the kinetic energy acquired by the molecules of the surface when they are set in motion by other means...

don't worry....energy is still conserved

ya i mean by kinetic energy nd the energy is conserved.
take the dryer and clothes and water molecule as a system

wen it spins
d centrifugal force is xerted on d water molecules
thus they leave their place n get out frm pores in d dryr

don't walk as if u rule d world
walk as if u dont care who rules d world
