Hi I am from Tuticorin, Tamilnadu.
I have completed my XII in this march 2008.
I have a general doubt.
We know that gravitational force is directly proportional to the respective masses.
And  it has been said that the satellites are orbiting around the earth due to this gravitational force.
Let us, for an assumption think that there is no death in this world, or we just think that the birth rate is 2000 times greater than death rate.
So gradually the mass of earth will encounter a steady increase.
So as it has been already told that the force of gravitation is directly proportional to the mass.
In such a condition as I told the gravitational force between the earth and the satellites will increase.
Now let I come to my question.....
Is there is a chance for the satellites to fall into earth if the above criteria happens?

if compare the mass of earth to the mass of all the people than it is so tiny miny small that it has an extremely small effect

you can do the calculations

I assume mass of the earth to be a in 10^20-30. In your imaginary case, Increase  in number of human beings will cause negligible change in mass of earth. Its like increasing number of electrons on a cricket ball by the factor you have. Moreover, satellite-earth mechanism is controlled by gravitation and circular force equillibrium not just gravitational alone.

How did you get the idea anyways?

I would like to ask you from where these new born people will gain mass. That is by eating trees or other animals. That ways mass will remain conserved.

Actually mass of earth is actually increasing because we get lots of meteorites every year, but even that mass is negligible as compared to mass of earth to change something significantly.
