can be dissolved by the president..or the ruling party or coailation itself..

rajya sabha is oftn calld a cotinuing house.........d membr s r nominated frm a specified period......it actually has no vital role in democracy........bt just a comfort fr politicians who aftr gettin defeated in lok sabha electn,,,,,,,bcom mp hre......... eg manmohan singh is mp frm assam ,,d place even to which he does nt belong,,,,,,,he ddnt fought d electn,,,,,bt is r pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!
