 ans is b)1 & 1 coz in these cases 0 will nt be counted as significant

according to options,its (a) i.e. 1and 5 because 0 before non-zero digit is insignificant and 0 after non-zero digit is significant

as far as i remember...it should be c.....cause in that .00002 the 0s are telling us how precise that no is....tell me if the answer is right....hard to actually explain it....but u'll find the rules in any phy book....correct me if wrong...

zeroes to d right of a decimal r counted as signi didgi.....but 0s before a no.. are not significant...so if we apply both d rules answer is c)...if it wud hav been 0000005 den it wud hav only 1 signi digi...i hope u get it!

1) the terminal or trailing  zeros in a number without decimal point are not significant.

2)the no. of significant figures is counted from the first non zero digit on the left to the last digit  on the right.

so no. of significant figures is 1 in each case.
