How would the following be affected in the absence of atmosphere around the earth?
a)
Surface temperature of earth.
b)
Range of radio waves transmission.
Give brief explanation in support of your answer.

ANS-
a) The temperature of earth will decrease since the greenhouse effect will not take place in absence of atmosphere.
b) Range of radiowaves will decrease since ionosphere will be absent.
