in acapacitor connected with a capacitor ,why in the first one fourth cycle,capacitor draw

in acapacitor connected with a capacitor ,why in the first one fourth cycle,capacitor draw energy from a.c source and returns energy to source ia next one fourth cycle

in the 1st one fourth cycle the capacitor gets charges as the potential is increasing in the +ve direction., hence draws energy...in the in the next one-fourth cycle the potential acoss the capacitor(which is already charged to the max potential in the 1st quarter) starts decreasing and hence the capacitor starts discharging providing energy to the circuit..

to study physics imagination is very much important. for imagination you must have the knowledge how thing works.

well here,

in the 1st one fourth cycle the capacitor gets charges as the potential is increasing in the +ve direction., hence draws energy.

in the next one-fourth cycle the potential acoss the capacitor(which is already charged to the max potential in the 1st quarter) starts decreasing and hence the capacitor starts discharging providing energy to the circuit and energy of the capacitor behaves like S.H.M.
