two balls m1 and m2 are thrown vertically upwards with same speed u.air resistance is neglected,they will pass through their point of projection in downward direction with speed of

The dwnward speed wud be 'u' again....


Take any body thrown vertically upwards with initial vel. u


Final vel. @ topmost height is= 0


Using v= u+at..................................we get t=u/g


In return journey it has 2 cover same dist. again ....so it will take the same time...


Initial vel. =0               Final vel. = x


Solve again......u'll get final vel. as "u"


U can also show it using  Moentum Conservation & energy conservation....
