How many significant digits are there in 100.01050 ?
It might sound stupid but I'm doing significant digits now for aieee, 2 yrs after it was taught!
According to me all 8 of them are significant. Pls correct if I'm wrong..
8 significant digits...
all zeros b/w nonzeroes r significant ..
zeroes at the end after decimal are significant.
And what about 0.010500 ?
Is it 5 ?
Its five in 0.010500
I didn't count the zero just after the decimal bcoz acc to the rules this zero is insignificant if there is a zero before the decimal and is significant only if there is a non-zero integer before the decimal.
0.010500, significant digits should be 5.
ITZ 5 AND NOT 6
1 0 5 0 0
THESE ARE THE FIVE SIGNIFICANT DIGITS!!
the discussion ends here.............................................................................
Yup 10500 are the significant digits.... 5.
