For a moving particle, distance covered can obviously never be 0.

yes, distance will definitely be 0 for a body at rest but if moving then cant be 0 but yes displacement can be 0 even if distance is not 0...

 NO.. Distance can never be zero. If the body is moves in circukar path and comes to it's initial position then displacement will be zero.
