How many significant figures are there in 100.0 ?
If you do get an answer, please tell me how.....

its 3... m sure coz 0's after any non zero number are counted but o after decimal and not be4 a non zero number are not counted... so 100=3 SF

No Its 4. The zero after decimal r significant as they depict the least count of the instrument.

But, if there was no decimal point, that is, if the number was 100, then only one significant figure, right?
I mean, it is only because of the decimal point that the first two zeros in 100.0 were significant?
