Please check the following link:

The Scientist does not study nature because it is useful; he studies it because he delights in it, & he delights in it because it is beautiful. If nature were not beautiful, it would not be worth knowing, life would not be worth living. Ofcourse I do not here speak of that beauty that strikes the senses, the beauty of qualities & appearances; not that I undervalue such beauty, far from it, but it has nothing to do with science; I mean that profounder beauty which comes from the harmoniuos order of the parts, & which a pure intelligence can grasp.

it follows rules of vector algebra...it is of many types...position,null,zero,parallel,equivalent...etc...it is mainly used to find out how a quantity changes with direction

any thing which cant be explained with magnitude only is vector
for eg  suppose i ask u to close the door  u just cant apply same magnitude to close door always sumtimes u need little bit more so it depends on the position or direction of door thats wy force is vector quantity

this is the physical approach towards vectors
if u liked it plz rate me
