We , Indians are all very excited and happy that Taj is chosen as the first wonder out of the seven wonders of the world. But Taj Mahal was already one of the seven wonders of the world even before this stupid voting. Did you know, what this stupid voting actually did ?? It deprived India from one of the previous wonders of the world - the Rabindra Setu. It was one of the seven wonders of the world but now it's gone,............. thanx to the stupid voting.
India previously had two wonders - the Taj Mahal and the Rabindra Setu
And now only one - the Taj Mahal.
Rabindra Setu was kicked out of the list .
And we are all rejoicing saying ' Wah Taj '
It's good to have fun when we gain something. Here we lost something.
But that doesn't mean that I am asking you to have fun and feel proud but atleast spend a moment mourning over the loss we had. One of the wonders of India is out ---------- What a big loss !!!
So, please spare a thought for the Rabindra Setu that just lost its place.
Afterall, thanks to the stupid voting we gained nothing but lost many things.

i think FATAFATO has wrong info because rabindra setu was never included in the seven wonders of the world.............source wikipedia here is the link

I agree with Mr. Fatafati
Out of the present and previous seven wonders of the world, it is the background of Taj Mahal that is absolutely rubbish and nonsense.
Mind you, I am not talking about the love story, but about that rascal and idiotic Shah Jahan who chopped the hands of the workers who built Taj Mahal. If anyone is good at history, they'll know that Mughal dynasty started its decline from the wrecless Shah Jahan.
Taj Mahal is not an embodiement of love but a picture of ruthless, merciless destruction of lives by the ruler Shah Jahan who himself was utterly rubbish and nonsense prince who revolted against the his father, the then king Akbar.
With Taj Mahal, remember the pain of the workers that made Taj Mahal, whose hands were chopped off.

hey bhagwaan instead of appreciating people are cursing taj
and "prithviraj chouhan " let me clarify your history
shah jahan was not the son of akbar >..he was son of jahangir and the people's life was said to be fluorishing the during his period .....he was considered to be greater than akbar in administration and management...secondly it was during bahadur shah zafars rule when the empire started declining

Do you have any idea wat u are talking about !!
There was only one list of seven wonders of the world ever made...and it was hundreds of years before christ...
There was no Indian monument ever made to be classified in the list of seven wonders...
And When People say Taj Mahal is among the seven wonders ( until now), it was a myth....it was only like giving respect to Taj Mahal...and nothing else. This is the original list of seven wonders of the world...
1. Hanging gardens of Babylon
2. Pyramids at Giza (only ones which are still left )
3.Temple of Artemis
4.Statue of Zeus at Olympia
5.Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus
6.Colossus of Rhodes
7.Lighthouse at Alexandria
Several other list have been prepared like seven Wonders of tourists and seven Engineering winders, but this is the original list.

taj was never included in the list of seven wonders till new wonders were out.
