it is the force exerted by two different bodies towards each other and it depend upon the the mass of the two bodies and the body have heavier mass will pull lighter mass body and this is why earth attracts us.........

Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and watch and work: You don't give up.

Gravity is a special case of gravitation -
Gravitation is defined as d phenonemnon in which bodies exert attractive forces on each other &
gravity is d force of attraction exerted by d earth on other bodies

GRAVITY IS PROPOSED DUE TO VERY SMALL PARTICLE CALLED GRAVITON

FOR WHICH RESEARCHES ARE BEING CARRIED TO DETERMINE ITS MASS

BUT THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DETECT IT

IT IS PROPOSED TO CAUSE GRAVITATION;LARGEST LAB. AT CALIFORNIA FOR THIS RESEARCH ONLY

THE MUTUAL ATTRACTION B/W ANY TWO PARTICLES IS GRAVITATION

AND IT IS UNIVERSAL

gravitational force between 2 bodies is universal... but wen the same applies 2 a body on earth , ie , earth  is one of the bodies , then this grav. force is called gravity. now this grav. force b/w the earth and the body is at eqm unless the body tries 2 move away frm the earth... the earth then pull s it back and that is wen u see gravity in effect
