magnitude = sqrt, ( 52 + 52 ) = 5 2 in a dirn along the bisecor i,e, 45 degree.

it is not important where u stand, but in which direction u are moving |

It is like this: Let us take the two vectors to be A and B Now the resultant R is given by: R= sqrt(A2 + B2 +ABcos ) In this case =90............................... cos 90=0 therefore the answer is R= sqrt(52 + 52)=5sqrt2=5 2
Note: I haven't put a on the vectors A, B & R.
Rate me if satisfied.
