Everything will be normal for 8 minutes, After 8 minutes are passed, the earth will be plunged into darkness and will leave its orbit around the Sun and follow a tangentially straight line from the point after 8 minutes. Also after the time gap of 8 minutes has elapsed, Earth would now be more affected by the gravitational field of other planets and astronimical bodies. this is what I think
as per the scientists earth will get into cold age
earth's temperature will decrease continuosly
n one day everything will freeze
bt till then no one will be alive as due to decreasing temperature
plants and all living beings will die (n also due to lack of sunlight)
yeah sum effect will be there on gravitational force too
but m not very clear about it
earth will get to the time as it was before the evolution of human being slowly
thats wat i know wat scientists say

na rahegi baas... aur na bajegi basuri... 
both d consequences predicted by shubhra_rai n kraniuM will take place... no one would be there to see what happens... so another experiment lyk big bang must be conducted to know what actually happens in dat situation...
a very nyc topic to debate... keep it up 'pc' .... 
There can b many points of view.....
BIO......Photosynthesis affected....deficiency of oxygen....eveything will perish of course..!
PHYSICS.....No days & nights ( we'll prefer 2 sleep all the time!) ; no seasons ; earth will leave its orbit & might collide with the moon, or mars , or anything in its way....
There will b no need 2 study optics & light.......solar cells will stop working.....Hubble space telescope & all those satellites in space will bcome useless!
Temperature decrease.... who knows we might fall into a black hole...!!
CHEMISTRY....Scarce UV radiations...all photolytic reactions will stop....
No light so we'll overuse electricity( not unless we are alive luking @ the other consequences!)....more fossil fuel wud b burnt ...more pollution.... more depletion.... & what not !
That means ...Total destruction...!

WHEN SUN WILL DISAPPEAR.JUST AFTER 1 MILLI SECOND THE GRAVITATIONAL BALANCE OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM WILL GET DISTURBED....ALL PLANETS WILL EITHER GET ATTRACTED BY JUPITER OR WILL MOVE TANGENTIALLY IN SPACE FOR SOME TIME DUE TO THEIR ROTATION ENERGY............AND THEN EVERY THING WILL GET VANISHED.............
