Space means volume. Volume requires length, breadth and width. This amounts to 3D. If you consider time as well it will be the 4 th dimension.

If A is a success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut.

The fourth dimension is often identified with time in physics, and as such is used to explain the non-Euclidean space-time used in Einstein's theories of special relativity and general relativity.

God does not care about our mathematical difficulties. He integrates empirically. ~~~Albert Einstein (1879-1955)~~~~
To divide a cube into two other cubes, a fourth power or in general any power whatever into two powers of the same denomination above the second is impossible, and I have assuredly found an admirable proof of this, but the margin is too narrow to contain it.~~~Pierre de Fermat (1601-1665)~~~

WE CAN CONSIDER SPACE TO BE MADE OF MANY DIMENSION. BUT PROBABLY THAT WILL LEAD US TO IMAGINATIONS ONLY AND VERY COMPLEXITIES THAT WE WONT BE ABLE TO HANDLE IT.
MAIN REASON THAT WE USE 3 D IS THAT WE CAN SEE ONLY 3D OBJECTS !!!!!!!!
