....what is density, mass per unit volume....in moist air u have water molecules in air so,per unit volume u have more mass in moist air than in dry air. so it has more density than dry air

avg mol mass of dry air (taking 20% O2 and 80% N2) is 28.8 gm.....


wen moisture is present in air, d avg mol mass of air decreases......


(since mol mass of H2O is 18gm).....


nw volume is same bt avg mass bcums less.......


hence, density of moist air is less than dry air.......
