light is incident from glass(n=1.5) to water (n=1.33)find the range of angle of incidence for which there are two angle of incidence?????
i wanna ask what here two angle of incidence means???

I strongly believe that there is a mistake in the problem. It should be "2 angles of transmission", instead of incidence.
Now, going ahead with this point, given a ray going towards on a surface interface, the ray gets partially reflected and partially refracted (2 angles of transmission). But, if thh angle of incidence is greater than a critical value, then only reflection takes place (total internal reflection, hence, 1 angle of transmission).

but bhuvan u see sine cannot have a -ve value as angle i or angle r can have value in between 0 to 90 so no ques of sine being -ve

i dont think whether it wud give the ans as sine cannot have 2 same values b/w 0 to 90...and moreover if bhuwan u understand wat the ques means cud u pl explain it coz i cant make out ne case with 2 i for the same deviation...this is possible for a prism but for a single interface i cannot make out
