no b, c is the answer as concave lens and concave mirror dont form real images(unless ofcourse for a virtual object) u cant find their focal length directly. u use a convex lens to find the focal length of concave lens- a common lab activity..

ya we find rough focal length by making an image on screen where image is sharper is the rough focal lengh so is the image is virtual focal length can't be obtained
