why doppler effect in light depends only on d relative motion of d source & d observer, rather than their individual motions unlyk dat in sound waves??? & wat is doppler effect in light all abt!!!!!

The absolute motion changes the frequency of sound waves. But for light frequency, velocity& wavelength does not change according to the velocity of the source or observer. So, we do notconsider the absolute motion and we consider only the relative motion
