What is the formula for longitudinal magnification in case of convex lenses?

What is this longitudnal magnification ?????

My birthday is no ordinary day.

Its the day when i declared in my own voice,

I WILL NOT GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT,
I WILL NOT VANISH WITHOUT A FIGHT,
I AM GOING TO LIVE ON,
I AM GOING TO SURVIVE,

When an object is placed along the axis, then what will be its size after refraction?

Tarin sorry for the delay.
Well tarin longitudnal magnification is not as straight forwrd thing as normal magnification and there is no srtandard formula as such. (It can be tricky at times. Consider a object kept on the focus. A part of it will form virtual image and other will form a real image. How will you define size of this image.) But still we can derive some result if we want when you get either complete real or complete virtual image of an object.)
Consider an object of size O kept at some distance u from the mirror. (Let u be the distance of midpoint of the object).
Tak u1=u+d/2 and u2=u-d/2.
for u1 and u2 find v1 and v2 with lens formulae.
if they are of same sign then
magnification is (v1-v2)/(u1-u2)
