help help help help.........

a small fish is in the river 0.8 m below the water surface nd 0.6 m frm the vertical bank . the surface in the watr is in level with the flat grnd on the bank . how near to the edge of the river is a man, whose eyes is 1.5 m above the grnd,when he can just see the fish???????refractive index of water is 4/3.....

answer is 2m on the ground from the water surface

use

${\mu}_{1} sini = {\mu}_{2} sinr$

sinr = 0.6 / 1

sin i =0.8 = x / 1.5

x = 2m
