A convex lens will behave as a concave lens when placed in
1) water 2) oil 3 both 4 none
i know that it will do so when it will be placed in a medium having higher refractive index then i think answer should be 2
but it is given 3 is it correct if yes tell me how as refractive i of lens > water

If the RI of the medium in which the lens is placed is more than the RI of the material of the lens, then the lens changes its behavior. A convex lens behaves as a concave lens and vice-versa.
ed ; it is a mistake in Q ( assumed RI of oil is greater than that of lens material )
