what is the minimum height required to see an object of length h on a plane mirror?
None

It is expected to be the same height of the plane mirror. when the mirror is held vertically. but it is not the actual case.

It is half of the height of the object i.e. h/2

REASON: The size of the image multiplied by the distance of the image is equal to the height of the object multiplied by the distance of the object. The distance involved in here would be front he surface of the plane mirror.

So x Do = Si Di

In your particular scenario, the size of the image would be the length of the plane mirror
