good question little_geneious.

If x is the angle between the given lines.

Then Cosx=(a1 a2+b1 b2)/squrt of (a1^2+b1^2) squre root(a2^2+b2^2)

If x is acute angle 'numerator is greaterthan zero'

If x is obtuse angle 'numerator is less than zero'
