ohhhhhhhhhh! it is actually a simple q i thaught that we have to prove that the area of smaller triangle is root2/3.......that's y i was asking the area of bigger triangle......if u know one then u can find the other.....the area of the bigger triangle =4(area of smaller triangle)......and ya i have taken DE||AB from the diag it seems so

Here DE is not || to AB.
Al;so the area of the bigger triangle is 4 times the area of the smaller triangle if the triangle is formed by joining the midpoints of the sides of the triangle.
