i also had this ques. last night..lets find it together...
for circle..its easy just plot it..u will certainly get answer...don't se the method of assuming a square..etc..
for ellipse a lot depend on curavture...so..put values of x or y to calculate x or y...i no its bad method..but question too isn't very mathematical..

don;t u think that the answer to this question depends on wat the equation of circle is .. i mean this will change as the position of circle changes .
