plz tell me how to convert standard results for y2=4ax to x2=4ay.like for ex.

point of contact of tangent  for y2=4ax is a/m2,2a/m  or at2,2at

what it wud be for x2=4ay(and how)

thnx

Just change the parameters in parametric form or parabola.

I mean, for y^2=4ax, we use (at^2, 2at)

For x^2= 4ay, use ( 2at, at^2) and use the same formulae and results U use for y^2=4ax.

Hmm, ya I think it shud.
Dude, think urself, by changing the parametric form and using the appropriate form, U R now treating it same as y^2=4ax.
