go through d basics...... understand d crux of problem ......
rather dan using formula as tools .....get dem from d core.....
d basic def....for xample....its a conic....locus o a point defined in a way.....and not
d general equation we use in probs .....ryt....
and above all......practice....practice a lot ...dat to wid confidence....

hello dear..

Go for SL loney and arihant,first try to understand each concepts of each derivation such as tangent,paramteric points,secant,chord,rectangular hyperbola.than go for problems.......
