Since MC1(15-10)=MC2(25-15)=>C1/C2=2

MC2(30-25)=MC3(40-30)=>C2/C3=2

MC1(T-10)=MC3(40-T)=

4(T-10)=40-T 4T-40=40-T  5T=80 OR T=160C.

I think if the degrees of freedom are f,then Cv=fR/2 and Cp=fR/2+R.

So,Cp/Cv=f+2/2=1+2/f.

MAKING A MISTAKE IS HUMAN BUT REPEATING IT IS IDIOTIC.

Degrees of freedom are ways in which a gas molecule can store its kinetic energy, they r rotational, translational and vibrational

Maxwell's equipartition law says that all gas molecules distribute their KE equaly in all degrees of freedom,

E.g: for a monoatomic gas , f=3 coz of translational in X, Y, and Z dirns.

for diatomic, f=5 coz it will have two rotationals also,

Vibrational will be neglected at this stage,since it is considered only at high temp, but it is given by 6n-4
