i think the temperature of the room will decrease.
b4 the fridge is opened, the temp of the room is obviously > temp inside the fridge.
so, after its opened, heat from the room flows inside the fridge till an equilibrium is attained. As the walls are adiabatic, the heat can't escape outside the room.
so the temperature of the room decreasses..

no change...
when the fridge is opened the cooling will spread but as the warm air from outside enters the fridge, the compressor has to work harder so tht the reqd temp is reached inside the fridge so it gets heated up n liberates heat

by the left!!!

The temp increases coz of the heat emitted by the resistances in the referigerator AS IT IS NOT IDEAL one........otherwise the heat released by referigeratorwud compensate its cooling.

the temperature would increase
as soon as the refrigerator is opened it absorbs the moisture in the air in the room
thereby increasing the temperature of the room

Acc. to the 2nd law of thermodynamics we have to do work in transferring energy (HEAT) from a cold body to hot body, in case of refrigerator the work is done by electricity
IFF the frige is ON than it will extract heat from the air (inside it) and do some work and release the heat from the back(you can check yourself frige is hot at the backside)
iff the doors are opend, effectively Electrical energy is converted into heat energy

M I rite  ?
I hope it is not the last post

My name is Arnav.
Hoping we'll meet in IIT next year !

ya
if the doors are opend, effectively Electrical energy is converted into heat energy

therefore the temperature increases

The fridge transfers heat from inside to outside. If it is open the net heat is zero(cause the fridge is taking heat from one part of the room and putting it back into the room. However, the fridge consumes electricity, and this is converted to heat because of the wire resistance. Hence the temp increases slighly.

hey frnd if d fridge is kept opened 4 a long time den ganesha 's ansr is rite but if its opened 4 few minutes den d fridge absorbs d heat exerted by d room & maintains cool temperature
