assume that a cylinder filled with a diatomic gas (n moles ).what are the conditions for it to dissociate.
Is it possibel by doing work on the as isothermally or adiabatically

Conditions for it to dissociate are nothing but supplying energy to break the bond between the atoms. Isothermally you can not do it because the temperature has to be raised.
