BORIC ACID WHEN HEATED ABOVE 170C IT DEHYDRATES FORMING HBO2 . IT IS WHITE CRISTALLINE SOLID.  WHEN HEATED ABOVE 300C IT FORMS H2B4O7. FURTHER HEATING LEADS TO FORMATION OF BORON TRIOXIDE.     WHEN HEATED WITH ETHYL  ALCOHOL IT BURNS WITH GREEN FLAME. RATE IF SATISFIED.
