it says that:
the magnitude of polarisation or increased covalent character depends upon no. of factors.......

1---small size of cation
2---large size of anion
3---large charge on either of the 2 ions
4---electroing configuration of cation

nudge if u hav doubt.............rate if u like !!

Who says nothing is impossible.

I've been doing nothing for years !!..............

I know KUNG FU KARATE
and 47 other dangerous words.............

Fajan's rules give de tendency of de cation 2 polarise n de polarisibility of de anion.
Polarisation of ionic compound is a result of distortion of anion by a cation
More polarisation (distortn of anion) more wil b de % of  covalent character.

Meltin point wil increase with increase of covalent character

Even though the sky seems dark, believe in the future.
The storm will pass over. The clouds will roll by.

Believe in the best though it seems hidden. Know that it will come though it's not in sight.

Your faith will take you through the darkness.
Your belief shall prove that the sun will shine again.
