it is a experimental fact that  DMG + Ni (II) SaLT +NH4 OH GIVES RED PRECIPITaTEWHICH OF THE FOLLOWING IS WRONG about this red precipitate

1)it is non ionic complex
2)it involves intramolecular H bonding

3)Ni(II) IS SP HYBRIDISED
4)it is a diamagnetic complex

Ni is Sp3 hybridised in that complex. So b is the required answer.
This is the test for nickel in group IV.(the dark rosy red ppt).

A ship is always safe at the shore but it was not built for that.

The Ni DMG complex is non-ionic ( no charges on nickel or ligand). It involves H- bonding between the two DMG ligands. As it is a diamagnetic complex it cannot be sp hybrisized. Hence Ni (II) is sp-hybridized is wrong.
