BF3 HAVE CONFIGURATION 1s2 2s2 2p1 so we have s orbital with 2 electrons and 1 electron in p orbital in ground state in 2nd shell.in excited state s orbital will have 1 electron&p orbital will have 2 electrons.now 1 flourine needs 1 electron to complete its octet. so now as B HAVE 3 valence electrons in s and p orbitals.so 3 F WILL TAKE THESE 3 ELECTRONS TO have its octet complete and B will have its 1 s orbital overlap with 1 F AND 2 p with 2 remaining flourine .SO B HAS SP3 HYBRIDISATION IN BF3 .
NH3 HAS SP3 HYBRIDISATION

this is a coordinate (dative) bond in this as both are having 4 atoms around each nucleus & as there no bonds
BOTH THE ATOMS ARE HAVING sp3

In BF3 molecule with three bonds to fluorine (sp2 hybridization), and no lone pairs, there remains one 2p-orbital that is not hybridized and empty. Also, fluorine is highly electronegative, withdrawing electron density from the boron atom.Hence BF3 is a good acceptor of electrons and therefore a good Lewis acid.
NH3 has a lone pair of electrons and acts as a lewis base.It donates its lone pair of electrons to BF3.
This reaction fills BF3's empty 2p-orbital, and now boron is sp3 hybridized when previously as BF3 it was sp2 hybridized. NH3 is also sp3 hybridized.
