naoh can be stored in--Al,zn,both,none?
Ans is given both bt i think none is ans correct if yes please give reason
|
When there is no hope & everything in dark..........

NaAlO2 and Na2ZnO2 formed which precipitate hence used for storing...these on dissolution give back NaOH

arent those 2 compunds formed only in the case of NaOH + oxide of Al or Zn.. and not just Al or Zn??

no both with metal and oxide it gives the aluminate and zincate because not only are the oxides amphoteric also the elements themselves are acids

the metals will themselves react.....Al,Zn,Sn... but for some reason Sn is not used.. n if the metals do so will the oxides..as they form acidic oxides
|

hey computer 001 is perfectly right!!! aluminate and zincate of Na will be formed wich will give back NaOH when diluted in aqeous medium nice to see you here Pardesi and hash includee  computer 001 already you flood your maths and phsics in the corresponding forums with your kalakifying answers now chemsitry ah pinnu po!!!!
