..well....i dont hav byhearting capacity to a big extent and our sir has given us many reactions for all anions and cations......

..please tell me any method to learn them all........

...nd is it necessary that we get all the reactions byheart???...

pls answer quickly..i ll b a loot grateful to all of u...

Hi,

Naah !!
You don't have to learn all the reactions. But some are important [ eg : chromyl chloride test ].

This is because you may be asked about it in your Board Practicals.

My birthday is no ordinary day.

Its the day when i declared in my own voice,

I WILL NOT GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT,
I WILL NOT VANISH WITHOUT A FIGHT,
I AM GOING TO LIVE ON,
I AM GOING TO SURVIVE,
I AM GOING TO GET WHATEVER I WANT.

Qualitative as a first chapter is a bad choice.....

we must know various concepts...specially ionic equilibrium (solubility product, common ion effect)........for cationic analysis

& for anionic analysis....various other other things like bonding ,reactivity must be known........................only then some interest can be created ....but for now .....................remain selective........learn colours of metal sulphides, test for NO3 - ,Cl- ,(SO4 )2- ,(SO3)2-,.....etc which will be helpful in compititive exams

never curse ur conditions....ask urself wt all sincerity...whether u r doing ur best or not?...u wl get the ans n get started.......GOODLUCK Dr. Meenal

There is no need to start cramming up things, you will automatically memorise as you will practice.Just do not get confused seeing so much all of a sudden. Inorganic reactions are indeed too many, but you will get familiar with them with time and effort.
