1)CsI-bcoz both of the atoms r large in size and weak forces bind them.so their lattice E is less.Li and F are very small so the forces of attraction are strong and so lattice E is high.

r+=radius of cation

r-=radius of anion

from option (d) CsI will have lowest lattice energy............

answer of d last question is (b) LiCl..... not sure... but LiCl  has highest lattice energy.

it is obvious from the relation of lattce enrgy taht lattice enrgy is directly proprotinal to charge and inversely proportional to radii of atoms here charge is same so leser the radii more the lattice enrgy so the answer follows taht csi has lowest lattice enrgy and lif the highest

LiCl generates covalent character!!!.
thus it is hard to break such kind of a bond.
therefore, it has max b.p.!!!

rate if it helps!!!!!!!!!!

Ya the answer of the last question is NaCl...

take this as an exception... that would be better... coz the explanation isn't valid for all questions.

NaCl ha sth ehighest m.p bcoz LiCl being covalent has lower m.p than Nacl which is ionic in nature( + and - ions attract each other strongly) and as we move down in group m.p. decreases as lattice enthapies decreases as size of alkali metal atom increases.
