it is polar and has a dipole moment due to open book structure and not a linear one!!!

yeah friend its dipole moment is nonzero and dihedral angle is nearly 117 deg. hence its not a single planar molecule..one  O-H bond in one plane and other      O-H bond in other parallel plane and O-O bond along same line....well thats the reason its polar....
