In this year's JEE (2009) question does Na2O2 react with O2 at high pressure to form NaO2 ? It is also because of that that Na2O2 is pale yellow coloured when hot??

Na reacts with O2 to majorly form Na2O2 n traces of Na2O.

na2O2 converts to normal oxide under high pressure as u correctly said but dis is not related t its color.

under high press, charge stabalization is more.
