this is an exception... the compound has dsp2 geometry.... and diamagnetic behaviur... here the d8 electrons get paired up... inspite of Cl being a wek ligand!!!

and maine ye to pad rakha tha ki ye dm. hota hai (shayad)
par didn't know the reason
