IS J.D. LEE NECESSARY 4 IIT OR N.C.ERT IS ENOUGH..

1st of all ask ur self this questions:

have i got information about what type of questions are asked in iit in each topic ?

do i have enough knowledge and clearity of understanding to tackle the questions that have been asked in exams like the aieee?

if ur answers to these questions is no , then sorry mate u don't

need J.D LEE

u need to study ur course book thouroughly first ,

(but only NCERT is inadequate coz it doesn't have enough information and problems . Ucan use a book by pradeep pub.

)

however if ur answer is yes and u want to take ur preparation to the nxt level ,use jd lee ,it's a very good book ,has very good presentation, and u are sure to clear all ur doubts.

however remember the condition.

hi MUKUL .thanks for ur acknowledgement.

i am a student of BSc 1st year CHEMISTRY(honours) from calcutta university .

i think ur preparations r good ,and u will do well in ur exams.

But still i want u to study some topics from J.D.LEE

coz it will helf u to get greater marks in chemistry and tackle problems better.

as far as the time factor is concerned there is enough time to gain some extra knowledge and practice it as well.

i will send u a list of the chapters and the topics that u must study along with the page numbers and suggested problems

possibly in a couple of days, coz u know its goin to take some time .

till then arrange for the 5th edition of the book .also let me know about the topics that u find difficult tackling.

i v passed 10+2 previous year ,& also got admission in nit kkr,but want 2 give fruitful try 2 IIT ONCE AGAIN,SO I LEFT THE CLLGE & NOW STUDYING.
i waz in sunday batch at south delhi centre, fiitjee ,delhi 4 2 yrs..

.WELL..IV NOT TAKEN ANY COACHING.. IV ENROLLED IN FIITJEE AITS..

no man . i like chemistry too much and want to do my research in quantum mechanics and atomic structure and then teach as a professor and

my 1st year exam dates are clashing with the iitjee dates,i won't be able to appear in it.

see J.D LEE has extensive coverage on s ,p,d,f block elements.

but for ur IITJEE sullybus u can very well manage these topics from any good book for IITJEE.

But again if u get stuck up with any particular topic u can refer to the index of the book or u can also mail me for help.

The basic idea should be to not learn too many new concepts coz that's only goin to increase the pressure on u.

just keep it cool and excluding the portions i have mentioned

use this book only for questions to which answes u don't find anywhere else.
