Clathrates compounds:-
Clathrate compounds are compounds formed by the noble gases in which they are trapped within cavities of crystal lattices of certain organic and inorganic substances.
To form a clathrate compound noble gas atoms should be of proper size for fitting into the cavities of the host crystal lattice.
ARGON, KRYPTON AND XENON ARE CAPABLE TO FORM THESE CLATHRATES WITH (say) QUINOL, but because of the small sizes of HELIUM AND NEON THEY ARE UNABLE TO FORM SO..
