When noble gases like Argon, Krypton and Xenon are passed into H2O and suddenly freezed then these gases get trapped in the vacant spaces of water. Such compounds are called as cage compounds...
hope ya know the strange behaviour of water from 0 to 4 degree C.
where the density of water becomes less because of cage like formtion...
the compounds in which noble gases can be trapped like the above method are known as Clatherates...
hope ya get it..

PROGRESS ISN'T MADE BY EARLY RISERS OR HARD WORKERS, BUT BY LAZY PEOPLE TRYING TO FIND EASIER WAY TO DO THE SAME.....SO BE LAZZZZYY!!!!

its clathrate--
Argon, krypton, and xenon form cage or clathrate compounds with water (clathrate hydrates) and with some organics such as quinol. The water molecules are arranged in such a way that they have vacant spaces that can physically trap the noble gas atoms. The noble gas will be released upon dissolution or melting of the host lattice.
the noble gas in such cases is called the guest and water the host

Clathrates compounds:-

Clathrate compounds  are compounds formed by the noble gases in which they are trapped within cavities of crystal lattices of certain organic and inorganic substances.
To form a clathrate compound noble gas atoms should be of proper size for fitting into the cavities of the host crystal lattice.
ARGON, KRYPTON AND XENON ARE CAPABLE TO FORM THESE CLATHRATES WITH (say) QUINOL, but because of the small sizes of HELIUM AND NEON THEY ARE UNABLE TO FORM SO..
