Hi
Ozone is found in the ozonosphere though it is denser than air is due to ::
1) It is formed in the ozonosphere continuously due to the incoming UV radiations from the sun.
a)O3 is created when ultraviolet radiation breaks apart an O2 molecule and the two high-energy O atoms interact with two other O2 molecules forming O3 -
b)with time the ozone splits and returns to the O2 form .
Amount O3 present is constant as long as the percentage of O2 in the
atmosphere, amount of UV radiation from sun and rate of O3 breakdown is constant .
Hence due to the continuous making and destroying , Ozone remains in the ozonosphere.
Cheers!

see , O3 is actually created when the ultraviolet rays cause the brek down of O2 molecules in the upper strate of the artmosphere !
so, it is found mainly in the above layers as ultraviolet rays gradually start losing theri intensity as they reach the surface of the earth! also, ozone reuires typical condition to remain as such as it can easily break down to release oxygen again !

Kiran has explained it perfectly.
Due to incident ultraviolet rays and their interaction with oxygen ozone is formed and after that it destroys thereby absorbing the harmful radiations.Due to their continuos creation and destruction they remain in stratosphere even when it is heavire than oxygen.
Best Wishes
