b and d since the inert elements show a variation in general trend.

the answer should be a and d.

as atomic no increases nuclear charge also increase so periodic table can't be arranged in terms of decreasing nucleus charge

in lanthanoids and actinoids there is lantanoid and actinoid contraction respectively therefore there is decrease in size in the elements of those periods.

WELL I THINK ANS IS A,B,D

for option A it is obvious , as the atomic number increases along the period,so the charge increases

for option B here there are some exceptions in the table so its not always increasing

( for ex if we take example of sulphur & phosphorous)

for option D as we goes rightward the size decreases due to INCREASE  in nuclear charge

PLZ RATE

BEST OF LUCK

Actually, since it doesn't mention the arrangement from left to right or right to left, A can be correct in a vague ways.

You can say that :), but assertion reasoning questions like to ponder upon vagueness,, anyway, we both know what's correct, so let's end this here buddy!
