hydrogen exists as H2 molecule...
u know that nucleus also spins in an atom....
if both the nucleus of the molecules spin in same direction...
it is ortho hydrogen

if the nucleus spin in opposite direction..
they are called as para hydrogen allotropes

size doesnt matter, brains do...

see in H2 molecule the electrons  shared between the two H atoms the two electrons can be of same spin or opposite spin if same spin it is ortho if opp spin it is para!!!! understood???

Ya Eistein is rite Its ELECTRON spins similar in Ortho and opposite in Para hydrogen

The normal O:P ratio is (if I remember rite ) 3:1

Our sir had told us tht even O,P water and Methylene exist

Ortho Hydrogen is unstable at low temp...I think you understand why!!

yes........as the earlier posts
hydrogen molecule which is formed from hydrogen atoms having same spins is called ortho hydrogen and one which is formed by combination of hydrogen atom in which the spin is in opp direction is called para hydrogen

para is more stable than ortho hydrogen
