i have 2 questions to ask...plz provide the reason also...

1. Brown ring can not be obtained if the salt contains

(A) NO₃^-, NO₂

(B) NO₂^-, Br ^-

(C) NO₃^- , CO₃^-2

(D) CO₃^-2 , NO₂^-

2. Which of the following will perform chromyl chloride test

(A) Hg₂Cl₂

(B) AgCl

(C) AuCl₃

(D) SnCl₂

plz provide the explanation for the answers...

For first brown ring is used to test NO3- So (B) and (D) will not give brown ring
