this is more than ridiculous. see i have been helping u ppl for quite a gud time but nobody is reciprocating the same to me....
i hope this may create a whole lot of problems
someone pls help me
my queries are
1. what are the imp. topics to be covered in inorganic . pls specify them
2. in electrostatics, magnetostatics and electrodynamics, pls post me important concepts and problems
alternatively u can post the imp. ques from irodov in these lessons
3. which book is best to read for elasticity, gravitation and properties in solids
4. on what basis do u compare the stability of given compounds
5. tell me the names of imp. compounds whose structure and related info. are imp. from jee point of view
plssssssss help
this is really bad that i have been helping others while noone is here to support me
at the same time i think this info. will help a lot of other students also

well i feel imp topics as far as inorganic is concerned 2nd yr topics are more imp than 1st yr..i.e the P bloc and d bloc....well and even metallurgy and qualitative analysis....and for a good book in elasticity and general prop of matter( all the surfac tension viscocoty and fluids.....also gravitation....)read arihant..its good book....

inorganic- stoichiometry, coordination compounds,mole conept and p block are i guess topics which u shud revise, abt stability of compounds, can u specify coz there are many factors.....somebody has asked this b4 too.....chk dat post again...

1. For preparation of Inorganic Chemistry
NCERT textbook Class XI and XII Read thoroughly no any other way
2. I'll post them tommorrow
3. Arihant Mechanics but where is the time now...
4. U can check them out in O.P Aggarwal --->the bond strength bond order and the bond stability THE CHEMICAL BONDING...VERY NICELY WRITTEN
5. Go for NCERT nothing else...
It is a little bit boring to Study NCERT but if u continue with it u can surely crack IIT

hey inorganic is big prob.......because whatever u learn they may give a new cpd abt which u haven't heared or abt its use.
for basics be thorough with ncert. i am going through BT's YG file which has good concepts and learning those.
periodic trends (very imp), solubility(esp) and the like in p and s block.
structure of imp compounds and hypridisation esp for acids and Xe cpds. i don't think they'll b asking eqn. unlike in organic.
s block can almost be omitted i feel.
